2015 Silverado new axles

.5 is for the 5.3 and the .76 is for the 6.2
Also remember that if a 3.42 and under you require a carrier adapter and yoke if going up on gearing or swap out your carrier. I dont think that changes the axle size though. Ive been going through this headche after bent axle and wanted to upgrade gear ratio while I had things apart figured be easy, by was i wrong. I just went with factory axles though at less than $200 ill wait and see if they break again before. Now im on the lookout for a 3.73 rear end and will just upgrade that piece by piece until its ready.

I had this problem in a 2003 GMC Sonoma years ago. I pulled the axles, brought them to my local machine shop, they literally just chucked them up in their lathe and kept bringing the cutting head in on the axle flanges until the cut was even all the way around. I put everything back together and it was perfect. Just cut the original axles and be done.

So what are the 6.2 setups normally coming with for gears?
Any cost effective benefit from upgrading to the .76 rear from the .5?
To the OP that is the exact reason i went down this path, horrible vibration from tweaked axle. Anyone figure out what caused this, its obviously not an isolated incident.

3.23's, 3.42's, 3.73's is what they have so far. I grabbed the 9.76 which had a 3.73 which is absolutely perfect in my opinion with the 6 speed and 32"tires. The 9.76 was out of a wrecked High Country 6.2 if you notice in the video the centering hub is centered... it's the outer portion of the flange that's not true with the hub.

Good so when you de-mod your truck that is what I will buy from you! Go ahead and get it built 4" shorter so I can run a deep lip WELD Racing wheel! LMAO!!!
