Default Volant CAI cone filter

My Volant is 4 years old and has the round washable filter. Can it be swapped for the Donaldson power core filter used in all of the newer volants or are parts different and not doable.

I dont see why you couldnt as long that the coupler is the size. But, personally I think those filters are restrictive compared to a washable filter. I remember they come on ZR1's and when we took them out for something else they gained like 5-10hp.

Anyone know the Donaldson or Volant part number for that filter?
