i run the 278mm 3000-3200 in my 2012 5.3 rcsb. i ran a 13.79 in the quarter with stock cam last year. i ran a 13.61 with dod/vvt comp cam last friday nite. you wont notice a loss in top end either. id be more worried about breaking a driveshaft at top speed!

Funny you say that lol... Mine snapped a month ago, have a high speed balanced two piece setup now ... My girlfriend actually blew it up which is the ironic part

Put it in today.... Pedal feels Like stock but I feel like I'm burning has truck runs up to 27-2800 rpm gets moving.. When at about 30mph stab no more tire spin at all... Going get retune Friday evening... Truck feels like I'm slipping clutch till I'm out 2nd and just cruising

get a couple videos to help us visualize. Your description doesn't exactly sound right... Light throttle should be tighter than that.
