How do I determine which core this cam is? Got this L92 cam from stock48 and he tells me that it's from an 07 or 08 Escalade. Swapping it into a 2007 with the 994 phaser. Not that I don't believe him, but I'm a paranoid wreck when it comes to uncertain stuff and would rather be 100% confident that this is the right core cam.

I don't blame you. I can't see the images at work, so i'm flying blind here. Whats the part number, or grind number on the cam?

No idea...that's all the numbers I have on it. I put it in and seems to run fine. Blows the tires off from a dead stop so I don't think its the wrong core...plenty of low end. Got about 1000 miles on it, getting about the same mileage as before. Didn't even bother tuning it.
