looking for input shaft #19132978
have the 4l80 trans in my 08 RCSB but having a hard time finding the input shaft. Seems its on back order. Does anyone have a lead on a 32 spline shaft for the mp1222 transfer case?
Has anyone swapped in a np261 transfer case in a gmt900 truck? Might have to go to the older style transfer case if i can't find an input shaft.
Thanks for any help

I saw an 07 nnbs with a 246 in it yesterday. Didnt realize they used the np transfer cases in any nnbs... I ended up buying an np3023 tcase used for $400 with 27,000 miles on it, they had another with 117k for $350.... On a side note are you sure the part number is right i thought there was a different input for the other transfer cases! Did botice that the harness connections on the np246 looked the same as the mp series though

From what I can find it seems to be the one other guys have used on the 1222 case, apparently they are all sold out. The older transfer cases use a different part number for the 32 spline input, the input shafts are all over the bay for cheap, just need to find a transfer case, floor shifted. Seems the np261 is the right one, I have no way of being sure until I do it, but a shaft would be much cheaper

I'm having the same issue. I don't want to purchase another transfer case though. I had the 19132978 on order for the last 3 months and they have recently cancelled my order. I was researching a little and the input shaft bearing for the MP1222LD is the same part number as the NP246, NP261, and NP263. The input shafts list different for NP246 vs NP261/263, but they appear to be the same. I have found both on ebay and other online distributors for around 40$ and was going to order one and try it. Worst case is it won't fit and I can send it back. Only thing is, I still have to rebuild my 4L80e so I'm not close to that point yet.

I have a 246 input for a 4l80 in my toolbox, not sure i want to part with it yet though! The problem is the 19132978 is the first design inout shaft and they have phased everything over to the 2nd design, which id be willing to bet the 2nd design input is probably readily available!!
