Default Lightweight flywheels

Anyone wanna school me on this, just read this can be a great mod for a fast revving truck but that it has downsides.

Can someone explain this?

Your truck has a flexplate not a flywheel...and that lightweight flywheel is better for raod course cars not heavy *** trucks that need mechanical advantage

So unless you swap to a manual you wont be using a flywheel

Sorry lightweight flex plates, I've seen some for 6l80 Camaro's which are about a 1K lighter than my truck, but I just liked the idea of quick revving my truck feel's like for ever to hit 6K in 2nd gear but I guess gears will fix that.

And what do you mean by mechanical advantage?

There will be no difference. The flex plate isnt heavy to begin with when compared to a 35-50 lb. flywheel. Your wasting your time.

You'd gain more by having a smaller converter.
