Default GM OEM or ACDelco OEM part difference?

I don't know if this is in the right section. But anyway, I need a new Mass Air Flow Sensor and I noticed the dealership told me I need #15900023 for $150, me being me I went home I searched and found ACDelco 213-3827 for $80. it says oem equipment. is there a difference between the two.

Therein lies a tough question the answer it's luck of the draw.

OEM guaranteed factory fit appearance function and form

AC-Delco most times is identical but as of late I have had a lot of ac delco stuff out of the box that is mickey mouse aftermarket crap.

Look and compare before you buy.

^ Yeah my recent BNIB ACDelco 6L80E filter had a "made in China" sticker plastered on it. WTF?!

Made in china is because GM took the taxpayers payment through the front door while they sold out to china through the back door simultaneously.

OEM parts are still the best but everything from GM is made in china these day's and the quality is complete **** when you compare it to parts of just 5-6 years ago. Get a older truck in the shop to change a part on and take new gm part out of the box and you can see the differences. It's with all mfgrs these day's but gm has severely slipped.

Yup, thats why I kinda laugh a little when people say they only run ac delco oil filters. They are just about the worst on the market yet cost more than most. Cheap china quality.

Thanks for the help guys. I will purchase original GM. I talked to a few people and some say some items are the exact same in the same parts bag/boxes with different part numbers and twice the price and some are different and cheaper made. I don't want to find out the hard way so will purchase GM OEM.

Well after looking at GM OEM mass air flow sensor from the dealership I quickly left and ordered AC DELCO. Reason is, THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME. Both part numbers are on the box. They would not match the price online at the dealership so I ordered from amazon.

Super duper, atleast you did your research and now you come out the winner here.

Sometimes I call with a part number in hand to see if it matches and to to see who's price is cheaper. I just tell them I'll let them know if I need it....... but then buy online haha.
