Escalade "V" build
Alright guys, 408 spun a bearing so out with the old and now to start my turbo build.
Tell me what hat you all think.
6.2 block
ls9 cam (because I have a new one in my tool box)
ported 317's
head studs
lsa Pistons and rods (with arp rod bolts)
ls9 headgaskets
hardened pushrods to help with the weight of the dual valve springs
fast 65# injectors
on3 76mm single turbo.
What do do you think I'll make? Numbers?

ARP rod bolts are kind of a waste of money, never heard of anyone breaking one of those. The piston will explode first lol.
Fast injectors are garbage if you ask me. Get quality injectors with quality data. Deatchwerks or injectors dynamics and go with 70-80lb/hr at least.

Well the stock one took a crap at 180k miles lol so it didn't a good job. A lot pulls passed 6k in a 6k lb truck lol.
408 blew in less than two months. But it did do a few passes down the track and a few highway pulls before it let go.
A 5.3 is in it now but I knew nothing about it and it knocks when it's warm. Already have a buyer for it.
So reusing the original block and crank. Basically building a mutt ls3 from some gm performance parts I have laying around lol.
Ls9 cam
lsa Pistons and rods
ported 317's which should do well on a 6.2. We shall see
