Default Do all 6.2L trucks have 14 bolt rearends

I recently rolled my jeep and am looking for another 4x4. Thinking of a 09-13 6.2 and like the title says was wondering if they all came with 14 bolts.

85% of them do, at least all the ones ive seen have a trailer package, including my truck. I did see one without the 14 bolt, but idk if the guy swapped the 6.2 into the pick up.

Both my 6.0 and 6.2 trucks both have 14 bolts. One is a semi floater, one is a full floater.

I was most curious about the AWD Sierra Denali's. I got a 05 VHO and it's got a 14 bolt with a LQ9 stock just like 2WD Silverado SS's. Back in 05 when my other truck was built the AWD Silverado SS's and AWD Sierra Denali's still had the 10 bolt behind the LQ9. Every 2wd and 4wd truck I have seen with a 6.0 or 6.2 has had the 14 bolt but I'm not familiar with the nnbs AWD Denali trucks and wonder if they ever made the switch.

Still the same...AWD Denalis and Escalades do not have the 14 bolts..at least the 07-13...not sure about the newer body styles with the Ecotec engines

Not to completely **** this thread, but I do know for a fact that NNBS Tahoe/ Avalanche/ Denali/ Escalades WITH 6.2 engines do in fact have 9.5" semi floating "14 bolts"

they are set up for the 5 link rear suspension, and are a popular swap into the NBS SUVs (which is how I know this info)

I would be happy to post the swap info if needed, but 6.2 SUVs and SUV variants have a SF 14 out back

You misunderstood my comment...The Rear Wheel Drive vehicles do come with the 14 bolt...AWD does not...not all Denali and Escalades are AWD....the Avalanche and Tahoe can only be had with 4WD not AWD so they dont even apply to what I said...

AWD = 10 Bolt
RWD = 14 Bolt
