Default Dies or wants to at stop lights

What would cause my 07 Tahoe to die at stop lights/signs?

I just replaced my battery.

One thing I noticed tonight was when it was going to die all the lights started to dim to a point where they almost went out, but, I put it in neutral and all was well.
If I put it in N coming to a stop its fine.

I'm curious if it could be my alternator.

Oh, and all of this started tonight. Never happened before.

Thoughts and opinions are much appreciated.

Thanks

I had something similar on my 09 Avalanche.

Take off you intake tube, and inspect your throttle body. The PCV system could be causing some oil buildup around the throttle body blade, and therefore choking the engine while at idle.

You would likely see it right away, so remove the TB, and blast the front and back with carb cleaner. Avoid opening the throttle body manually so you don't irritate the throttle position sensor also.

Let me know how it works.

Thanks guys, I'm on it.

I'm off to the parts store for some brake cleaner.

I'll be back in a little while

Atomic, yes pretty much all stock.

Thanks again

EDIT So I go out to check the intake tube before heading to the parts store. It was not secure at all not even attached to the TB. Seriously, how the heck does this happen? This same thing happened with my 2dr.

Yeah, well that would essentially cause the MAF to be bypassed.
