Default Budget converter from a I6 trailblazer?

well, as is always expected, my 65e is on her way out. A buddy of mine was parting out his tbss and I was able to score his fresh rebuild 4l70 for really cheap.

now, I'm looking at swapping a converter to something a little more loose, possibly something that will flash in the 2500 or so range. When I had this conversation with a friend of mine he told me that an "inline 6 trailblazer converter" would make for a good budget converter. Anyone have any experience with this?

truck is an 09 5.3 2wd

So my .02,

Most people who do this almost always come back and swap the converter out because it's not loose enough.

Get a Circle D 2B. It's their 3200 stall and is plenty loose. You'll love it.
