Default Anyone ever got a P0507 code after cleaning throttle body?

Cleaned the throttle body on a 07 Tahoe 5.3 now it gets high idle code and when you rev it up it will idle around 2-3 rpm. If you start it up and don't rev it it will idle at normal rpm but as soon as you rev it it will not come back down to idle. Tried relearning the idle with a tech2 didn't help. Tried a new throttle body same. Smoked the intake showed no sign of a vac leak. Fuel trims are normal. The Tahoe is all stock right over 100k. Any help appreciated.

When you swaped the TB did it have a new TPS sensor or did you re-use the one from the original TB???

Did you take the air intake off completely or just off the throttle body? If completely, you had to unplug the connector at the MAF, might not be fully reconnected or a pin got bent? Also check the little tube that hooks into to air intake on the left side just before the TB and make sure its connected at both ends.

Nope just the throttle actuator. It had a evap code that i fixed, I did a oil change, cleaned the throttle body, replaced a air bag sensor and replaced the accessory belt.

I took the throttle body off completely to clean it the intake tube came off at the tb side. The tb plug was the only thing I unplugged from the harness. I checked the air tube on the valve cover its in place. The maf reads fine, the throttle can be command with the tech2 when idle is normal. When it idles high its at 22% throttle actual tps and commanded buy truck. When it idles up like that the tech2 will not longer command the throttle. At this point im totally stumped.

When I took mine off to clean/polish it up I had this problem. Turned out being the butterfly was binding up in the bore because I didnt align the butterfly back up right

I have cleaned probably over 1000 GM T/B's and have not had this problem. Usually it's a low idle and it comes up after cleaning. I would look at the desired and actual TPS request. What is the short term fuel trim % ? I would remove the intake boot and make sure the throttle body opens with out binding and recheck for any vacuum leak.

I know I just asked you to recheck everything that your first post said but sometimes easy mistakes are over looked. I have learned the hard way too many times....
