If you ask really nice i may have the input shaft you need.... went through hassle of pulling it with limited gools in a junkyard and then realized it wont work in either of my transfer cases the 261 in my 99 is what i had gotten it for originally, turns out the input shafts between the np261/246 are different.... the 07 is the bastard year of the nnbs, like my 99 was for the nbs... still using last gen parts for that one year...

So let me get this part straight so I can try and proceed with this upgrade tranny
I need to find a truck with autotrac, flex fuel and 6 speed and I should be good to go? Even if it has a NQH or a 3023 transfer case. I'm assuming these are the newer style cases gm uses now. And also assuming they don't use the 246 anymore in the newer trucks. Also the connectors I have on my vss and 246 are the same as the 2 I mentioned above? Am I correct on all this or way off base? Also what yr range should I look at, 09 to what yr? Thanks for your help on this

Any thing with flex fuel and a 6l80 is going to have an o2 harness and the fuel pump control madule harness in the chassis harness rather than part of the engine harness, easy fix though as the wires you need are in your stock harness just need to pull them out and make a piggy back harness to where it would normally connect up by the fuse box.... but as far as i have seen the nqh/MP3023 transfer cases have the same connectors as the np246.. i have the part number for the harness i used somewhere, but was off of a vin for a 2011 silverado brand new was less than $200 iirc

well I think I found my harness out of a 2011 Tahoe I think its what I need. Also cheapest 6l80 I found was around 600 but its out of a 07 vette . Pretty much same tranny that you converted there Worktrk 6CYA so I guess I'll need new parts to make it work for 4x4. All the 4x4 ones they wanted 1500+ for them
