07-08 4L60e to 6L80e swap
Transmission
Converter
Oil cooler lines
Dip stick and tube
Shifter linkage bracket or modify your 60e one (i did)
Slip yoke
Transmission mount or make one
6.0 or 6.2/6L80e wiring harness
Reflash your ecm with the OS for the 2500hd or denali
Reprogram the ecm for your mods
As for cluster i do not know if just "swapping" them out will work or not. So maybe a bcm change or a reflash, with possible gauge swap. Tow/haul and manual shifter is an easy swap as most trucks have the tu/td wiring already

as you can tell they dont use the same transmission cooler lines like the 60/65/75/80e
im going to try and find a stock cooler line set up and go from there.

i can buy this block with -6AN fittings and run my own lines, but then use AN compression fittings to make it tie into my current lines. that's an option BUT when the line from gmpartsdirect is only 60.00 i dont see the fuss in it. i have to order more parts anyways through them so why not just order the lines too.

ill be watching this 1 closely niff... with any luck this will be the first mod aftr powertrain warranty. iv gotta call my dealer and get a part# for a engine harness with 6l80e/4wd combo.
i got the cooler lines too!!!! plus i went pick up the whole shifter setup this morning. wanna know the price?!???Trending Topics

yeah thats why you need a new wiring harness for the 5.3/6.2 6spd
imma box up my 5.3/60e harness and tcm then save it for a rainy day aka if my truck gets wrecked
