The Hot Rod Truck Headquarters, Tom Henry Racing presents the Supercharged Silverado.
Tom Henry Racing, your hot rod truck headquarters, sells the "Supercharged Silverado" a modified version of the Chevrolet's full-sized Silverado pickup truck. The THR Supercharged Silverado is a "tuner truck" aimed at the hardcore, high-performance truck enthusiast. With the emphasis on performance and value, THR Silverados are basic, half-ton, standard cab, short box pickup trucks fitted with either 450 or 500hp, supercharged engines and a package of performance-
-oriented accessories such as 20-in tires and wheels and a stainless steel dual exhaust system.
At Tom Henry Racing, we think the THR Supercharged Silverado is a great package, but don't take our word for it. Read what some in the automotive press say:
"One last 18-wheeler went by, I tromped the gas and cranked the wheel left. As I finished the turn, I just about floored it. Whoa! This sucker has some mid-range torque! The big Goodyears spun and the truck began to powerslide. I lifted just slightly for it to hook, straightened the wheel and held about three-quarters throttle until it shifted to second, then I buried it, again. Working past 5000 rpm, with my foot on the floor, you could hear that Magnuson blower whine and the low-restriction exhaust bellowed its V8ness, loud and clear. I looked at the speedometer.
One word, tells all about this truck.
Under the hood is a supercharged Chevy V8.
"It's a big, red, rumbling, rubber-burning, hot rod, pick-up. What's not to like?! Said another way: one subjective observation about THR Supercharged Silverados is: they'll effortlessly smoke the tiresŠeven with their locking diffs and 20-in. Goodyears.
