I don't like to run tires bald ether one bad blow out will change a person view on tires. I will probably keep this set of tires for alot longer I don't drive the truck that much.

Im about to start collecting parts for a ZF6 swap so my trans will be bullet proof and I know alot of very high horsepower guys run 10bolts successfully but after killing 2 due to a horrible suspension causing alot of axle wrap and me driving it like an idiot. I just don't trust them very much. I also want rear disks eventually so that will kill 2 birrds with one stone.

how long have you had your 60e? are you 4x4 have you 4H launched?

The 60e has roughly 40k on it. When my trans guy built, I told him I wanted everything but billet shafts and drum. At the time (FBO 5.3) he said the trans would outlast the truck.

I'm 4x4 and yes I've tried a 4H launch or 2. With the stock Radix kit on the 5.3 and base Nelson tune it would roast all 4, no trouble. Tried a 4H launch with the pullied down, cammed 6.0 and it dead hooked and tweaked a tie rod but again just a base tune. I hope to cure that with this next combo tuned by Atomic.

I'm lucky in 2wd I guess. If I lose traction the truck just spins and stays straight. I do have a 2k lb airbag kit on, but i only keep around 10 lbs in them when I'm not hauling/towing anything. Tried putting 40lbs in them to counteract the rear end squatting when I hammered on it but all that did was ruin the ride.

Did you get tierod sleeves or stronger ones after the break? I have some rancho tierod sleeves on mine after I broke a front axle shaft. Would love the cognitos eventually.

Im excited to 4H launch with more power I want a trick kit really badly and then eventually a 6.0 as well.

Tie rod sleeves work ok, keeps them from snapping completely. To get a really strong joint though you need heim tie rods. More maintenance than stock style ones, but meh, racetruck.

The sleeves were just kinda a $20 make me feel a little bit better upgrade. When I have the extra money laying around I would like a set of the cognitos or FFRs.

Whos tie rods are you running Atomic? or did you build your own?
