Default Stepside bed repair

I am buying a stepside 00 silverado. The original owner hit something pushing the bumper into the corner of the bed. Is there anyway to repair this without replacing the bed side? Im not sure what it is made of. I thought it was fiberglass but it appears to be some kind of plastic. I will have the truck monday to get pictures if it will help.

i cracked a couple of bedsides, if they are cracked just tape the outside and use a plastic glue/resin on the iside and remove the tape once it is cured. the stuff i used was from home depot, two part plastic epoxy. worked well
