Default Should I sell?

I bought without reserch two motors both low miles under 40,000, both with all acc, trans, and wireing, ecu and gas pedels. one is a 2003 5.3 w/706 heads and one is a 2003 6.0 w/317 heads paid $2000 for 5.3 and $3000 for 6.0. I wanted alum engines these are truck steel blocks. Plan was for 5.3 to go into 34 pickup and 6.0 to go into 36 one ton duelly.
Please help me make up mind while they are still together..Thanks

Guys, keep in mine that he bought them as complete running packages... Complete engine, with transmissions, wiring, computer, and so on.

The 6.0 package may have been a little steep, but with under 40K miles is probably not to bad.

My question to you is, Why do feel the need to have Aluminum Blocks??? Your not gaining much by having an aluminum block.

Maybe weight savings?

the little bit of weight saved is hardly negligible compared to the **** probing incurred from finding a alum block.

Weight savings, comes with better oil pan and intake and I think heads are better too. Most important I have never had one and motavation is key to keep projects going. Either way the cost of doing one is way more than old style SBC.

As mentioned the weight savings is negligible, I believe the difference between the 2 blocks was around 50-80 LBS. Now if you need a different pan that's 1 thing but usually you can get an Iron motor cheaper and buy a different pan and still be ahead.
