Default New tire options

It's that time again. Been running Hankook RH06 Ventus2 in a 275/55-20 on a stock suspension with Tahoe 5 star 20" wheels. I am now pretty open to trying something different without breaking the bank. I feel like these tires are a bit too big, but they fill the wheel wells and are one of the cheapest sizes. Right now I am leaning towards a Nitto 420s in 265/50-20. Which will take me from about a 31.9" tire down to a 30.5" tire. The current tires have lasted quite nicely over the last 4 years and 40k miles of total abuse. I am totally open to other suggestions. Also I most likely never going to change the ride hieght more than 2-3" either up or down.

I also forgot to mention I have a stock 60e/4.8 with boltons, 3.90s and a rear locker. I am thinking I would like to go with something a little smaller. I do eventually planning on an 80e and larger motor as well as a baby cam.

I have been very pleased with the Kumho Ecsta STX. Very reasonably priced and I saw over 60k miles out of them.

That was the first tire I had with these wheels and was unimpressed. It's been about 10 years though so maybe they have changed them.
