I have 2004 tahoe and plan on getting this here soon:
My question is where would you mount it and how? I am thinking in the front of the tahoe on the floorboard inbetween the drivers and passengers side...(transmission tunnel?) what would be the better way to bolt it down? Up through the bottom or down from the inside? ( There should be some mounting holes on the bottom )
exactly...i carry but here at work i can't carry so i have to leave it in the truck...i dont' have a center console, i have a bench in the front so i dont' have that spot to mount it like the other guy had...i'll take a pic of it later so yall can see what i'm working with.
yea you can open it with the key if the keypad fails...or you can get the deluxe model that has an external wire you can hook up for constant power WITH an internal battery backup and low battery warning beep.
