Default LS2 heads on 5.3 with a Maggie

Would swapping out the stock L59 heads on my 5.3 for the set on my GTO be better? I'm also running a MP112 Radix. I'm ppretty sure I gotta mill the heads to get the compression ratio right, but curious if these heads would be better? Main thing is the blower/head combo

I'm not trying to go nuts just want my Silvy to have a little more power than the hopped up Hemi's and EcoBoosts

They will flow a ton more air and yes you will need to kill them. You're right on target.

I'd be careful picking on Ecoboost's. The 3.5l twin when tuned is bad ****.

And don't dare jump on a Taurus SHO. Same motor as the Explorer... Right down to the twin turbo.

In stock form they turn 13's.

My cousin had his Ecoboost tuned and it's quick, off the line I have him but going down the road a bit he was closing the gap, I just wanna keep the truck as close to top dog in my area. It was easy when everyone had 295-345 horse motors... now everything is pulling down 400+ it seems... lol
