Default Lq9 escalade opinions

Hi all, I'm wanting some feed back so I can make an informed decision. I purchased a 03 escalade esv 6.0 awd with 145k miles as a theft recovery and I can't decide if I should put it back together, or put the parts in my rcsb. The body is excellent other than the hood and windshield (cracked). Interior is a 8/10. Very good condition. The problem is the driveline is half way out and they stripped the engine bay and put it all in the trunk. They also cut the engine harness. I'm in the truck cheap but it'll be much more involved (wiring wise) than I've ever done. I'm comfortable installing the engine trans and accesories. It'll need a few things such as drive shafts, power steering lines, ac condenser, and a few other odds and ends. What do you guys think? Restore a nice caddy? Or have a cammed lq9 rcsb with escalade interior?

swapped 6.0 rcsb has way more cool factor

probably take $1500-$2500 to put the escalade back together + your time. with a salvage title probably only worth $3500-$4500?, around here they can be bought for $5000 to $7000 with clean titles

you need to figure out when its all said and done is it worth it?

The title is still clean because it's a repo. I'm kind of thinking swap it in my truck but I can't decide. I hate to part it out with the body in such good shape but it'll also take me 6 months or more to put it together a little at a time. And a 4000lb 6.0 single cab would be a blast!

Damn you stole that thing. If you obly have 1k in the caddy, swap the mitor to your rcsb, part the suv and pocket all the extra money

I think that's what I'm gonna do. I can get roughly $2,000 out of it in parts so I'm thinking use it to buy some prc heads and a cam. I thought about swapping the rear end into mine too since it's dual piston disk brakes but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. I'd get a rear sway bar with it though.

There will be fab work involved. Your truck is leaf sprung, that Caddy isn't.

If all youre worried about in the rear is the brakes, swap them over to your truck...
