My "new" to me 2001 Silverado has 246,5XX and counting. Looks mostly original, my guess is that the transmission had to have been rebuilt by how well it shifts.

I've got 2 NBS Tahoes in my driveway. One with 225K (still pulls my car trailer all the time) and the other has 298K. Both still bone stock on original motor/trans.

2003 z71 with 5.3. 158,000 pulling heavy loads all over the south east. Bone stock everything including plugs. Obviously I've replaced tires and brake pads, inner tie rod ends, but that's it. I know that I need to change the transmission fluid and filter (Haven't done it since the first recomended change when it was still covered under the dealership service plan) but I am planning on replacing with a 4l80/higher stall converter so me thinks I'll just let her ride.

Yeah don't even bother with the filter. Do a good trans flush and call it good.

02 Tahoe 4x4

245k+

Water pump, Idler pulley, Knock sensors and harness(intake gaskets while I was there), usual regular maintenance.

Trans is still on its first life but clunking and shuddering under light throttle load and sounds like every lifter is tapping on cold starts haha. Bout to put another trans in but researching 4l80 and 6l80 swaps, it uses a little oil and a smidge of coolant not so often. Just kind of planning right now for heads cam and trans for the future once the wife get something and I use it as a toy/dd.

Its stock.
