Well after 12 years I traded in my '00 Z71 with 155k on it. It needed cab corners, rocker panels, and a paint job as most of the clear coat was coming off. Sight un seen they gave me 4k for it. I figured that was good since it would probably bee 3k plus to repair the paint/metal. Now I have a 2005 CCSB Duramax 4x4.

165,500 and counting. Had 163k when I got it. Runs pretty good. Recently changed the knock sensors, plugs & wires, and did oil change.

01' Single Cab Silverado 180K and going strong! Added a new stepside bed since the fleetside it came with when I got it was fucked....other than that body is in good condition. Will be painting it early next year god willing....

Default 5.3

i have a 2011 silverado with 175,000 miles original owner and have used mobil 1 since first oil change. burns about a qt to 1 1/2 qt between changes. i go 7000 between changes. Common complaint on this engine because of the 4cyl to 8 cyl switching is oil consumption. Also has oil fouled the number 7 cylinder 3 times since new. no trans problems to date(KNOCK ON WOOD)AND I TOW UP TO 10,000 LBS AT LEAST 1X A WEEK!
