That clip is awesome. I wish I could set off an Onstar event while having fun!

It can't be stolen guys. Come on, that's just stupid. Why would anyone steal the truck BEFORE finding out how to disabled the system?

Pulling the fuse disables the function as stated. How far disabled do you need it to be?

Curious as to what laws you would have to break for a lawyer to tell you to remove such a feature?
Prank calling those onstar girls with a lil hand action?

my guess would be hes afraid big brother is watching/following, which they can, but really unless your a threat/doing no good i dont see them just peaking in on your person for no reason imo..

The information to disable onstar could help someone to steal a truck, a good thief would know how anyway.

If you are not a current onstar subscriber the only people who could track your vehicle would be law enforcement and would need a warrant to do so. If you are a current subscriber the only people who can access onstar info would be the registered subscriber or a dealer for repair purposes.
Bottom line only law enforcement could track you without your consent via a warrant. So if your living life with nothing to hide there is no reason to disable it?

The Onstar module is in the right side of the dash behind the airbag, take it out. Or unplug the antenna.

And if you take out the module your airbag no longer works from what I've read.

I just don't understand why people think someones always watching them. It costs onstar money to be sitting there tracking people for no reason.
