Default Guages and a new cluster

I want some opinions and advice. I want to swap out my guage cluster for something different but don't know what will work with my 5spd. Also what style guages would you guys recommend to match said cluster and what is the best place to buy them from? Preferably autometer.

I dont mind the reprogramming to get the correct milage. I'm just wondering if it will work with a manual tranny.

The clusters will work without programming. If you have the DIC function, that needs to be programmed into the cluster. Of course mileage needs to be programmed into the cluster as well. Thats where it is kept.

I put a 2500 cluster with trans temp gage in my 05 with out programming and it worked just fine. later I added steering wheel controls and had it programmed for DIC and UK3 redundant radio controls. That had to be done at the dealer.

being a manual shift, there is no need for a trans temp gage. A 99 through 2002 will fit, but anything except a 99 will cause the airbag light to stay on.

Good info ive got a caddy cluster w/ trans stemp coming for my 03 rcsb. My buddy just wrecked his 06 LT Z71 and had no insurance so he is parting it out. It has steering wheel controls as well. Do i just need the clock spring out of that truck to make them work in my 03?

So will MPH actually read past 100 accurately? I kind of want the trans temp just so all the spots are filled, even if it doesn't work what is a good websight to order them from that has a selection?

How did you add steering wheel controls?
