Adding Factory fog lamps
I had a few people ask about this, so I thought I would post the info. I work in the local chevy dealers parts department and stumbled on a kit couple of days ago. There is a fog lamp kit that includes everything for adding the lamps to a vehicle that did not have the factory option. It includes a new front valence, wiring, switch, lamps, etc. The GM part number is 17802547, it's list is $225. It seems like a steal for the kit from a dealer, so contact your local one if interested.

I purchased the fog lights, wiring, relay, and switch from gmpartsdirect for around $80 shipped. I used the original valance and cut the holes myself. Install is simple and so is cutting the valance. The thing not mentioned above though, the dealer has to reprogram the bcm so the foglights will work. I wanted it done and didn't feel like searching around for someone to do it, it cost $80 at the dealer for less than 5mins work. I am sure I could have gotten it cheaper, but thats what I get for being impatient.

I had the P/N for the 03-04 its around $150 and its the one without the lower bumber extention with the holes pre cut, and cut the holes. I got it fof mine and cut the holes. Very easy!!
The 03-04 should be the same but not 100% sure.

I just looked on the site and the first part number comes up like 99Silver6.0 said. I then looked the way I found mine and got this part number 12499673. I guess the ones for the 06s are different cause the valance is black not gray. Come up high though, $203.11, and I am sure shipping is high.
