White Lightning 5.3

Hello, this my first post on this website and I have a question about the 99-02 Silverado 1500. I have a full front bumper off a 2001 3500 HD Silverado and I was wondering if the bumper would simply bolt on to my truck so I can add a HD grille. Or is there any modification that has to be done in order to bolt on the bumper. Any help is appreciated. BTW I have a 2002 single cab swb silverado 1500 with a 5.3 if that helps any.

The body of the HD trucks sits about 2" higher in relation to the frame than the 1500s do. For that reason, if you run the HD grille you'll have to cut and lower the bumper brackets on the frame.

i wanted the hd grille but i have the ss bumper cover. i like the cover so i just cut a little under an ich off the bottom of the grille and mounted it

I am working on my 2002 Silverado and would like to locate the billet grille I see in the picture. Did you ever find were it came from?
