Default 91 chevy project...which way to go.

So..i just ended up with a 91 chevy 350/5-speed combo. Ive always wanted a low creeper truck.

The goal..finish the inside and make a fun, cruiser/parts hauler. I never plan to race it..just make it fun to drive.

So far it has a 4/6 drop, c notch, belltech, and hellwig rear sway bar. 15x8 and 15x9 wheels. Black cherry paint, shaved tailgate and rollpan, spray in bedliner. So really the only thing left os mechanical. Now the 350 in it now runs great..its just week. The 5 speed is showing its age by the way im assuming this is the 5lm60? How hard would it be to swap to a 3500?

I really juat want some tourque..maybe some more power.

Should I leave the tbi?, maybe go to a carb build. I also really want to keep the manuel so a lsx swap maybe out of questio ...also this is gon a be a budjet build. With the new slave and master i put on it i have $2500 in the truck

That's a good looking truck! I like the wheels and stance. I have a 95 that was originally 350/NV3500. You can definitely put an ls in front of the NV3500. That was originally my plan. You just need the right flywheel IIRC. I actually have one from when I was doing it then I found a t56.

Where are you located?
