Smile Battery Fun!

Okay, So my old battery is not liking the cold weather. I wanted to get a optima a while ago but heard the quality was going downhill lately. So what are you guys running as far as batterys?

Don't waste money on an optima. I will never buy another one.

I heard somewhere that the factory battery was expensive? I haven't looked into it yet though

I have heard alot of bad thing about optima BUT i have a red one, its on my third vehicle now, total use would be a lil over 6 years, gone dead around 20 times or more (always my fault) and its still working great, cant complain, good luck on your buy

Just go to the local orielly's and get a superstart brand battery they carry. If you want to spend more money on an optima then you might as well get a high quality car audio battery from deka, xspower, odyssey, shuriken, kinetik etc.. They are not really needed though so just stick with the superstart or something similar.

If you don't need an overly expensive battery, don't buy one. I see no need in it, but Kinetik makes a great battery. Used plenty of them, and put plenty of them in.
