Go to Uship.com. Although business to business is cheapest, there are companies that do home delivery with a liftgate. Maybe Fastenal, too, but their prices are still high comparatively. You can usually find a pallet on craigslist and a couple harbor freight ratchet straps...

I paid ~$300 to ship an LY6 w/ 6L90 still attached through freightcenter.com. I think shipping distance was 1100mi
also, A good rule of thumb is to expect a little less than a dollar per pound at current prices. Less than $.8 is smoking, more than ~$1.10 and youre getting hosed. In my experience.
