Default Comp cam, 799 heads with 918 springs

These will be off my truck very soon. Like next week soon. I have a set of 799 heads. They had 18000 on them when I bought them from another member on this site. I maybe put another 1500 on them. They have 918 springs on them that have 1500 miles on them. The cam is a comp cam Xfi 275hr 54-426-11 222/224 .566/.568 112 lsa cam has around 5000 miles on it. I'll take 450 shipped for the heads with springs and 225 shipped for the cam. Or if you want the whole thing I ll take 650 shipped for it all. Call or text me 405-740-7765.

I don't want to separate the heads and springs due to the fact I don't want to dissamble them. Am I lazy....I ll have to say a bit.

Sold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah they are off an 5.3, alot of people use this head especially the 6.0 guys looking for added compression over the stock 317s that come on the 6.0l

I'm not a 6.2 guy but Im thinking those a square port heads. These are cathedral type heads and I believe they will not work with the intake you have.

Hello,

I own a 99 Tahoe that I will be dropping in an 00 6.0 out of 00 2500HD P/U.
I know you stated that many are using these heads for added compression.
BUT
I will be adding a blower to the set-up. Will these heads and the blower make things worse.

My goal is 500-600 hp. Cam boost friendly?

thanks

jason

You have the iron 873 heads on a 2000 6.0 I belive. They have larger compression chambers then the 799 I belive 71 vs 63. The larger the combustion chamber I ve always been told was better for boost. So I think your better off with the 873. I would look for some 317s there the aluminum vs of the 873 and you can find them cheap on eBay. Like 230$ shipped on eBay right now lol

Gas,

799 is the same casting as 243s. They do not have the special valves though.

your honesty is awesome , your trying to give a killer deal on a set of 799's all while steering people in the right direction for thier combo , and for those who dont know these 799's are te truck version (solid stem valves vs hollow) of the 243 ls6's

JFOLM guess you type faster
