Where can I buy the correct o2 bung needed for 02 Sierra 2500 6.0?

Most auto parts store sell weld in exhaust bungs.

Ah ok i didnt think of that. Didnt know if there was a certain gm style bung

Sweet, sounds good. I didnt know if there was a special thread or a certain length it was supposed to be or not. Ill check out my local parts store today

Ok so i had to order an exhaust bung, i got one from napa, it looks like a normal nut, not exactly what i was expecting....

They are nothing special that's for sure.

The bottom has a little step in it, you drill to that size and it sits nicely in the pipe and you weld around it.

This is the one i got from napa, not at all what i expected....



It looks more like a tie rod jam nut than an o2 sensor bung
