Default Slow Fill-UP

Hey BLACK SILVERADO I've got an 05 VHO and it does the same thing. Specially the last couple of gallons. So if you find the problem please let me know.

there is a sensor between the bed and the cab that controls the vent solenoids while filling with gas

The part # is 15138620, Fuel tank vent solenoid. This PN was for my 04'. Make sure you get the correct one for your truck, I'm just not sure if there were different ones out there.

Got it for $71.31, took 5 minutes to install, and the problem is completely gone.

Thanks for all your help guys!!!

Cool deal man, glad it was a simple fix....I guess you're out of warranty? I would think that solenoid would be covered under your 3/36.

Guess who has been having problems filling up lately? Got a code P0446 yesterday(blocked evap vent). Pulled the vent tube and it was clear and not pinched. Left the tube off the vent solenoid and filled the tank with no issues. There was a lot of fine dirt in the solenoid when I pulled off the cap. I could see that causing the valve to stick if it gets in there. I blew it out and hooked it back up. Looks like one more item to take care of before the warranty expires.
