Truck consuming oil and spraying out dipstick

Default Truck consuming oil and spraying out dipstick

So my truck just recently started consuming oil and spraying out the dipstick? I did some research and figured it was a bad PCV valve, but both part stores I went to say my truck doesn't have one? Is it different on an 05? I pulled the vacuum line off from the intake to back of driver side valve cover, and tried to pull the barbed fitting of the valve cover (the part I thought was the pcv valve) but it doesn't seem to wanna budge So I pulled off the valve cover and cleaned out that fitting but its still doing it any ideas? thanks.

Its called a fixed orfice PCV, its not a removeable valve like the older years, its integrated into the valve cover. Do you have a turbo or procharger? Blowing out the dipstick NA doesnt sound right, unless there are other serious problems.

What did the inside of the valve cover look like? Was it all sludge? How many miles do you have on it? Is it boosted? It almost sounds like your rings are leaking and causing blowby. If you remove the PCV line does it blow oil/air out of it?

If its blowing oil out of the dipstick, you've got excessive crankcase pressure. While it could be caused by a blocked PCV, you could also have serious ring or piston damage allowing excessive blowby.

Is the engine boosted or otherwise modified?

Yes the truck has a p1sc procharger at about 6 psi. Motor has 200000 miles! I will do a compression test to see, I've just been avoiding that because it's a pain to do the drivers side with the blower. It just seems weird it would be rings cause I just had the heads off and the cylinders all looked great plus the truck isn't down on power at all. Is there anything else I can check before a compression test? I already pulled the driver side valve cover and it was super clean.

Also there doesn't seem to be any blow by out the oil cap

You can't really test blowby at the oil cap unless you put a latex glove or balloon over the hole and see what happens. If you actually had noticeable blowby by taking the cap off, then you'd have a major malfunction.

A leakdown test would be even better at diagnosing blowby. Pressurizing the cylinders to 100PSI will really show where the air is going. You can hear the air escaping into the crankcase and the gauges will show real percentage leakage.
