Default not pulling hard in 2nd since new plug wires

i put taylor thundervolt 50's in my truck last week. i feels pretty good in 1st gear, but in 2nd it just seems like a dog since the new wires are in. felt like it pulled harder with the stock set.

How do your plug wires know when you make the 1/2 shift? Very curious! You need to look elsewhere for the answer to this problem. Your plug wires don't know what gear your transmission is in and they don't care. Your plug wires don't even know you have a transmission.

i've got the same wires and havn't had any problems to speak of. second gear seems to kick in strong and pull hard. don't know what to tell you, maybe a new set of plugs. ngk's will cost you about $10-$15, give those a try if you havn't already.

My Taylors are fine and the NGK plugs...maybe that TqMgt is stepping in?

maybe it was just the environmental conditions outside. some days my truck runs good, some days it runs bad. we all have had that experience. maybe i just caught it on a bad day. i will try new NGK's though. thanks
