Default Throttle body

Well I have a 03 silverado with a electronic throttle body and having to upgrade the throttle body and wanted to no peoples options about going to a cable instead of a electronic. This point only options are a ls7 electronic 90mm or go to a cable with the Nicky Williams 92mm.

You can't go back to a cable throttle body, atleast not with the same operating system as far as I know.

I may come from a differernt world/platform here but if you can't outflow the stock throttle body, why switch it?? The only change would be throttle response I guess but you won't gain power from the switch if you arent flowing more air than your TB can handle.

a stock motor along can benefit from a larger TB, the stock 78mm is a restriction

I'm going to run the tbss intake which is way better over mine and well wanted to go with a Nicky willams 92mm throttle body but they only make a cable one and a 102. But stock tbss throttle body is 87mm.

87mm and 90mm isnt much of a difference

you are correct the GMT900/tbss intake is an improvement over the stock GMT800

however the GMT800 intake is the 2nd best flowing cathedral intake

That's correct. We was looking to send it off to be ported out but they wanted 600+ and I'm sending it to what's his name to shave it and make it look hpod. Bc the tbss they are so kinky looking with all the ribs and stuff on them.

Something that might help simplify the whole affair; get 3 bolt to 4 bolt adaptor, like $25, and an L92 throttle body and and xlink I think it's called to connect the 8pin harness to the 6 pin plug in the new throttle body..........
