Default stock lq4 dyno numbers

hello i know my car is not a truck but i have taken so many info from you guys that i want to share the stock lq4 numbers before ls9 cam swap

the car is a 67 firebird with 2002 lq4, 80mm bbk TB, muncie m21, 12bolt 3.91rear, stock manifolds with open dual exhaust and some advanced timing with hptuners




when the cam swap is done, iīll post the dyno graph

i need to adjust the afr but that will be done with the cam and som sd tune... i hate that stupid maf

Those are pretty solid numbers to the ground stock. What kind of gains are you expecting with the ls9 cam? I am not too familiar with that cam but I was thinking they were mostly being used for boosted applications.

Not to bad, power about the same as a stock LS1. Cant wait to see the LS9 cam numbers.

and iīll boost it with a ht3b so that cam is great... but everywhere i looked i never found some numbers with that cam being N/A just for some guy with a 6.2 that gained 40 rwhp aprox. so it is mostly like a guide for some other people that wants to do the same instead of the old ls6 cam swap

and here in El Salvador a stock Ls1 on the same dyno as me trowed 285whp my brotherīs 98 LS1 with boltons and 273hr cam did 354whp 342rwtq so i think im pretty good with that results

they donīt I ordered some hooks and the needed a lot of mods to fit right mostly because I lowered the engine

i had a 2002 z28 with mac mid length headers that might fit and made good power!
