Default Stall recommendation?

Just put the Comp XR265HR-14 camshaft in my 4.8 along with fresh 862 heads. The stock converter seems ok with it but I'm guessing a slightly higher than stock stall would help it some. Any recommendations? It has factory 245/75-R16 and 3.73 gears. TIA

I know its a small cam... but its a small motor. That 4.8 will want all of a 3200 converter.

If you want to do this on a budget I would do a 278mm 3200. If youre willing to step up a 9.5" billet thats a tad looser will perform a lot better, but drive a lot looser on the street.

A friend of mine has an FTI 3000-3200 in his truck. (2013 with a 4.8/65E) Drives good , woke it up, and wasn't much over $300. They are semi local to you as well. (Deland, FL)

I spoke to FTI and they recommended a 2800 stall with my combo mainly because I still tow a boat with it. I just installed a Flex-a-lite direct bolt in cooler also.
