Stall converter for 5.3l in Chevelle
Hey guys I'm going to be installing a 5.3 that I rebuilt with a tsp 224 cam, into my 71 chevelle. I'm running a 4l60e trans in it and trying to figure out what a good stall converter will be (brand, size) etc. For the best money

Circle D gets my vote.
Something in the 3000-3200 range would be fun with that 224 cam. Their 278mm 2A converter is what I had in my truck before the trans went out and it was fun.
Note: The converter didn't cause the tranny to fail. The converter was in the trans for almost 2 years and I had put about 40k miles on it.
