The fastest 1/4 mile domestic vehicle in 78-79 IIRC actually...faster than the Vette in 78 or 79 (whatever year it was)...my buddy had one of those trucks, cool ride. I agree, the only pickup that should have stacks is the Little Red Express, otherwise, it will sound like poop and look like ****.

Sounds like I'm the only one that likes the style. I wasn't sure about sound, I don't want it to be annoying for me and my kids. Especially if I take it on any long trip.

Honestly the looks of stacks are hit or miss, you would never know it was a gas or a diesel on a HD truck. The sound can be manipulated to sound good. If done right and made the truck quiet it could be pulled off. However dont expect to be straight piped.

you got to remember the Lil Red is older then majority of ppl posting on this site. that truck was badass and the stacks fit well on it

The pipes on the Lil Red Express fit the bed well, and were routed outside the bed, not through the bed, like most of the ones that I've seen on newer trucks with the add on pipes...
Not my cup of tea, but that's why ice cream comes in many flavors

diesel guys get carried away with size of stacks. they use stacks to make up for their insecurities. its like the import guys with fart cans
imports can be tastefully done, so can diesels but majority of the idiots have poor taste
dual 8" stacks when your flange off turbo is 3" is a joke.

this really isnt the place to ask if we like stacks, your question would have probably been better suited for "GAYFARMTRUCKERS.NET" or "POLESMOKERS.NET"

Both of them trucks wit the stacks in the pics would look better if they were not 10 feet tall, slash cut.. If they were about 8 inches above the bed rail, flat topped or a small slash it would look 10 times better..
I like me some *******. Oh I mean women with stacks.
