Question Spark plugs

So I'm currently running the factory iridium plugs. I had a plug wire burn up and I'm thinking the plug may be fouled up from 500mi of random misfires. Going to replace all of them but looking for what plug to run.

I've seen NGK TR6s mentioned but I haven't seen any specific suggestions for a cam only 5.3, so Im open for ideas!

Also what gap, factory .035?

My truck boosted and NA always drove better with iridiums. I run a TR6IX plugs now and they work great so far up to 14psi. They are also gapped at 0.032

Do they come set at .032? Thought you can't "gap" iridium plugs?

I run TR5's in my basically stock internals motor, doesnt miss a beat and still pulls over 20 on the freeway. I run the factory .040 gap.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to catch that .

Ended up just buying the standard TR5s for now. Only $20 for 8 of them. Gonna throw those in tomorrow hopefully. Something tells me the plug that my wire burned up on is fouled up some probably. Worst case I only spent $20 for some fresh plugs.

TR55s @ .055" gap is what I ran, no issues.

He has been that way for a while so don't worry.

He's only just now getting to the point where he can admit it on the open forum...
