I have had my 6.0 to 12lbs boost and no problems. I have a Intank 255lph pump and 72lb injectors. I loose fuel pressure on topend but I dont go lean. As long as I dont go lean then I am not to concerned. Being as thought you have a 4.8, your fuel system is going to take you a long way. Get a good fuel pump, you already have 44lb injectors, get a good tune.

You mentioned wierd AFR fluctuations, this does NOT mean the pump is bad. Tune is most likely off. Get your Fuel pressure guage hooked up and see what your fuel pressure is.

Fixed

What pump are you running and what are you using to drive those injectors? Megasquirt or something similar?
