returnless fuel system options
I think im fixing to need more fuel for the 04 truck. What are the options availible now in terms of pump upgrades. Have we fixed the problems of the 1/4 tank and that crap. All the threads i found seemed a bit dated. Thanks

Why do you think you need more fuel? Don't give up on the returnless system so soon. I think there's lots more potential, just have to be right on with the tune, and have a good pump to start with.

Returnless fuel systems don't use a regulator except for in the tank.
I don't know how much power your making but my returnless system works pretty good at the power level I'm at, granted I don't think it would support much more. I have an intank 255lph walbro, stock fuel lines to the firewall, -8 braided line to an -8 NOS Y-fitting and -8 lines to each of the Edelbrock fuel rails, and then a -8 line connecting both rails in the back to equalize pressure. My truck idles around 60psi and drops to about 50psi in the high rpm. I know the drop is bad but the tune compensates until I go return style. See sig for power level.

I dont plan on even those power levels, I ordered the FP gauge a while ago. So i guess i just need to upgrade to the walbro, is there any problems with this as far as the low gas stuff. thanks

Ive got 44lbs now. Truck is fixing to be boosted. Its got 60k on the fuel pump. Ive had weird AFR fluctuations on the wideband for a while now. BUT im just getting around to the gauge, gonna replace the trans temp and pot for the factory cluster. We will know for sure soon enough, id rather not even mess with it, im just trying to weigh out teh options for future concers.
