well I ended up going with the 7.325" pushrods. After a little reading I figured it would be best to stay around 0.065 thru 0.070 preload. So hopefully that is the last you hear of me and these darn pushrods. I think I have mastered the technique of measuring pushrods haha. Tho, I do wish I noticed Tick Performance and their 5/16" pushrods in a .105 Wall before I ordered the BTR's. I doubt I will have any problems with the 5/16 .080" wall.

It sounds like you want .09 based on the GM spec, since .065 is below suggested minimum

Technically GM recommends 0.060 thru 0.090 preload depending on application. I figured since I was right on the edge at 0.090 I didn't want to risk anything. Also, it is hard to go based of the turns on the adjustable pushrod when trying to read it in 1/8ths and 1/16ths of a turn. So I could be closer to 0.072 preload which is perfectly fine for me. Realistically 7.335" Pushrods would put me at 0.080 preload but those are not available and the next closest thing is the .325's

Like i said before, hyd lifters are very forgiving. Ive seen people run .030 and others run .100 with no issues. I shoot for .070-.080. Some will go with whichever pushrod givrs the brst swipe pattern on top of the valve.

I took that into consideration when I choose the 7.325"s as well. So i went with the lower number just to be safe.

I also realized that both rocker arm pedestals were "Worn". When I torqued the rocker arms down I noticed that it twisted a few of the rocker arms enough to not have them right in line with the valve tip. I had no idea that the pedestals could wear or what ever they did. Changed them out now and rocker arms are perfectly in line with the valve tips. Now just waiting on the rain to stop to toss her in.
