hmm and your still burning them i have the taylor 10.4 wires but if you have the heat boots you shouldn't be burning them anymore

I am running the gto wires, they have a slight bend 45* or so that keeps them away from my pacesetters.

sounds like you need shorter wires. I use the shorter 8" msd wires made for the cars. The ones they make for the trucks are too long, IMO.

Im running stock replacements, with the "humped" headers. A simple ziptie around the coil pack and plug wire pulls the wire away from the primary enough to keep from burning.

I have a set of sleeves that I bought when I was running the wires from AutoZone, and they worked well. They cover up to 1200* Fh, and I believe the set cost me $30ish.

ya i think i may just have to buy, shorter, and new/better plug wires and maybe some new heat shield boots?

finally got me some good sleeves for the turbo, i was jw if anyone knew a good place to get some msd wires? best i can find is ebay $70?

I use mr gasket sleeves and they protected mine so far.

I had to cut the bottom of the sleeve to widen the hole to get the plug end in there. No way the end woulda fit if I didn't. Now everything is covered down to the head.

ya i got some off ebay they should work. i just noticed my plug wires are alittle worn on the coil pack side so was thinking of getting new msd wires or something?
