Default Performance engineering headers dont fit my truck

Bought some long tubes and a Y pipe for my 2009 5.3L sierra 1500 4wd. I guess i missed the part that these dont fit with the 6l80 transmission. I feel like i did a lot of research and am not sure how i missed this.

I have the headers in and drove the truck but the Y is touching the transmission pan and cross member. I talked to speed engineering and he was nice and tried to help but the end result is that i f'd up by ordering these headers.

I'm beyond frustrated as I am in to this project $800 (Canadian) and i think my only option is to take them off and try to sell them to get some of my $ back.

Any words of wisdom? I could sure use your help...

Could you have the Y pipe massaged by an exhaust shop? Maybe a BFH to flatten the Drivers side pipe a little for the time being. How far off is it? Sounds like it cant be all that bad if you are driving the truck.

Thanks guys. The Y needs to be lengthened because it is touching the trans pan.
I went to a muffler shop and the guys worked on it. They couldn't get it to clear either. I'm going to get them to lengthen the Y and add cats and O2 sensor bungs. The tone needs to be a bit lower too so the cats should help. I have a corsa exhaust that sounded really good before the headers so I'm expecting it to sound good when its done.

Right now, my truck sounds horrible because of the leaks. Since it wasn't supposed to fit my truck, I'm not blaming the clamps. But its embarrassing bad. Oh well, I should be able to get it into the shop soon.

Now that I have a solution, I feel a lot better. The headers are good quality so the finished product should be good as well.
