On3 turbo kit question 2000 silverado
Ok I have a 2000 Silverado and I've been looking at the on3 turbo kit with the upgraded 76mm ball bearing turbo, I also want to do a cam and stall for it as well, but should I mess with the heads and intake at all?? I've thought about getting 243's and the edlebrock pro flow xt with a 90mm throttle body, also what cam and stall have some of you guys used with this setup?? Thank you, sorry if it's been asked before

i wouldnt bother with the heads and intake if you just drive the truck around. they will add a little power but its not really a strong cost to benefit ratio.
converter is best to tell a builder what you have and let them recommend one.
these LS motors prefer smaller cams compared to their earlier counterparts. I have one in the 216/216 range on a 4.8 and it spins up nice and makes good power, i would stay below 220/220, lots of people have great luck with the infamous triple 12. if you arent sure what you want, thats probably a good choice.

It's gunna be primarily a street/strip truck, it's goin to see more strip action so I might do heads, idk but with this kit will I be able to just throw a cam and stall at it with a tune and go??

i would look at the different builds people document on here. i bet most use a stock head casting unmodified and do pretty well.
these heads in stock form are better than most of the commonly used aftermarket sbc heads ever were.

Just do a cam and keep the stock heads/intake for starters. Texas Speed can sell you a Cam, Push-Rods, and Valve Springs package for $600. 212/218 LSA 114 is fine but if you want to push it harder a 220R LSA 114 would work well. 3,600 rpm stall will work okay enough if you want it to be a decent cruiser.
