Default Oil Pressure Question

I've noticed an issue with my oil pressure and wanted to see if it is normal or something I need to dig into.

When cold, 50 psi at idle, 60 at part throttle, and 70 plus over 3500-400 rpm.

When hot, about 30-35 at idle, 40-50 at part throttle, and tick under 60 at WOT.

Running 5w/30 Mobil One, and just changed oil.

I think the inability to go over 60 psi when hot regardless of RPM is an issue.

I don't think it is sending unit since it registers the higher pressure when cold.

Any ideas?

Dash gauge or real gauge??

All of your numbers sound okay to me. Sure 60 psi hot at WOT sounds a tad low, but thats still plenty of oil pressure to do everything that is needed. I'd only worry if it keeps getting lower and lower over time.

My dash gauge reads the same.

It's within spec.

Dash gauge. I agree, just didn't know if I should change the pump or o-ring.

**** my 06 only shows 30 on the gauge at idle, and when it gets warm about 15-20 at idle, maybe 35-40 when driving. Only way to check is to put a mech gauge on it.. Seems low by the dash gauge but is still not low enough to be out of spech

Ya Im going to need to do that.

Just a little worried since it reads so much closer to stock when cold (50 at idle, 60 at part throttle, and 80 at WOT).

I was going to install the new fuel pump and get it on the dyno and get some baseline numbers, just didn't want to blow up the motor because of an o-ring or bad oil pump.
