Nitto NT 420s Vs Toyo Proxes S/T
I'm looking for a street tire that offers the most grip on a stock 22x9 wheel. who likes what and why? i don't care about the looks, grip is my number 1 criteria.
thanks in advance for any and all feedback!

I've got 305/50/20 nittos and my buddy has 305/50/20 Proxes and his are a little softer. The 420s do alright for what they are. On your average grooved concrete surface they'll dead hook with a 3200 Circle D with 4.10s every time with literally no weight over the *** end. I only make around 300hp though right now.

I have experience with both in the same size. It is pretty simple! The nitto hooks, the toyo spins.
The nitto 420 on my cammed/stalled/FBO silverado would hook and go. Very little spin
The toyo would spin, spin and spin. If you want to do rolling burn outs, or lose races because you cant get off the line, or blow the tires off from a 30, they are good tires for that. They look a lot better, but in my experience they sucked. Oh, and god forbid you get caught in the rain with them.
